Sandy Creek Academy
Sandy Creek Academy is an onsite daycare facility and primary school for children of the Silk Grass Farms community. Enrollment is available at no cost — a benefit that reflects our company’s People First business model and commitment to the wellbeing of our team members and their families. Founded and licensed in 2022 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, the school was registered as a Belizean Special Purposes Company (non-profit) in 2024.
Nurturing The Next Generation
The mission of Sandy Creek Academy is “to provide high quality education to students in a safe, respectful, creative, inclusive environment that builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning by developing competencies using nontraditional practices.”
School administrators and teachers direct a competency-based learning program that extends beyond the classroom to include lessons in swimming, music, agriculture, animal husbandry, and general life skills.
The Sandy Creek Academy school grounds include a fish pond, farm animals, and a garden, providing students with the opportunity to plant and grow produce while learning sustainable agriculture practices.
Students of Sandy Creek Academy receive complimentary school supplies, uniforms, lunch, and snacks to ensure they have the resources and support they need to learn and excel. All students, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds, have equal access to education, technology, and opportunities for success.
